Merit College was founded in 2008 in Markham, Greater Toronto Area, by a Loran Scholar and her educator father.
Inspired by the core values of the Loran Scholarship — Character, Service, and Leadership —
The school was created to help new immigrants and international students integrate into Canadian society, enter their ideal universities, and achieve both academic and personal growth. The school remains dedicated to nurturing global citizens and future leaders with integrity, compassion, responsibility.

For almost a decade, Merit College has been helping young and talented students from all over the world reach their full potential and get accepted into a suitable post-secondary program. Merit offers a rigorous academic program that is individualized in a small class learning environment. Our highly qualified teachers attend to each student's needs.
